• Bioclinic Naturals Sereni-Pro ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), eleuthero (Eleutherococcus senticosus), lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), and rhodiola (Rhodiola rosea) are herbs known for their adaptogenic and calming properties, as well as for mitigating the effects of everyday stress and fatigue. Adaptogens modify the stress response through the regulation of homeostasis via several molecular networks, including modulation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis and expression of multiple stress-related proteins, including neuropeptide Y.

• Ashwagandha helps maintain levels of dopamine and other stress neurotransmitters already within the normal range and also acts as a GABA receptor agonist, all of which have the effect of calming the overall stress response.
